TJ Maxx receipts have a distinctive format that reflects how TJX Companies organizes its off-price retail stores. Every item line starts with a two-digit department code, followed by the department name and a SKU number. The receipt also includes a full chip or debit transaction record, a feedback survey section with a unique survey number, and a sold-item count near the barcode. Receiptmint's TJ Maxx template replicates each of these sections so you can build a complete receipt from scratch.
The default template is based on a real TJ Maxx layout from a Sherman Oaks, California location. It includes four Young Men's department items, a California sales tax line at 9.5%, a Mastercard debit transaction record, and the TJMaxxFeedback.com survey block. You can edit every field: change the store name and address, swap department codes, update the card type, or modify the survey number.
A TJ Maxx receipt is divided into clear sections. The header shows the store name (formatted as "TJMAXX OF [CITY]"), street address, and phone number. Below a divider, items are grouped under section labels like "REGULAR SIZE" or "CLEARANCE". Each item line follows the pattern: department number, department name, SKU, then price with a tax flag (T for taxable).
The totals section shows the subtotal and state-specific sales tax on separate lines. After the grand total, a chip/debit transaction record block prints the masked card number, authorization code, AID, and approval status. At the bottom, the feedback survey block invites customers to visit TJMaxxFeedback.com and includes a unique survey number tied to the receipt.
